Build a kit
Enter your room’s dimensions and pick your level: you see for free which elements it takes and the estimated RT60. The kit document includes the measurements, the floor plan, the installation height and the guide.
SN Acoustics Lab Toolkit is a set of online acoustic calculators: room modes, reverberation time (RT60), absorber panels, Helmholtz resonators and QRD and Skyline diffusers. You adjust the parameters, see the results instantly and download cut lists, assembly guides, laser-cutting files and PDF reports.
Nothing to install. Works in any modern browser.
Each tool solves one part of a room’s acoustic design: analyzing the space, sizing the absorption and designing the diffusers.
Enter your room’s dimensions and pick your level: you see for free which elements it takes and the estimated RT60. The kit document includes the measurements, the floor plan, the installation height and the guide.
Axial, tangential and oblique modes up to the Schroeder frequency, Bonello criterion and room-ratio comparison.
3D pressure zones for each mode and RT60 per band with the absorption area you need. The PDF RT60 report is a download from your plan.
Modes and mode shapes for floor plans that are not rectangular, with the room’s RT60.
Absorption curve and per-band coefficients by material, thickness and air gap.
Perforated-sheet resonator for bass: frequency response, cross section, dimensioned front face and 3D model.
A surface that absorbs and diffuses: hole pattern, rear cavity, response and cutting file.
2D post diffuser: length grid, grouped cut list and 3D model.
Quadratic-residue diffuser: sequence, well profile, diffusion range and cutting file.
Two-dimensional diffuser: depth grid, materials, laser cutting and assembly guide.

The subscription unlocks the design tools (Helmholtz, BAD panel, Skyline, QRD and QRD 2D) and gives you a number of downloads each month.
Each download includes the cut list, the assembly guide and the 3D model of the design, or the PDF RT60 report.
All plans include the same tools. Only the number of monthly downloads changes.
You don’t need to know acoustics. Enter your room’s dimensions, pick your level and get a design made for your space: what to build and how many pieces, the specifications of each element, an installation plan showing where each one goes and the step-by-step guide. What you pay for is the design, not a download: that is why it is a separate purchase from the plans.
Prices in USD, taxes included. One-time purchase, not included in any plan and it does not use your subscription downloads. It includes the download of the cut files, assembly guides and 3D models of each element in your kit, and if you lose the PDF you can regenerate it for the same room.
Prices in US dollars, taxes included. Unused downloads do not roll over from one month to the next. If you run out of your allowance, you can buy an extra download for $2.99 USD at the moment you download. You can cancel at any time. See the refund policy and the terms of service.
Each time you download the files of a design (the cut list, assembly guide and 3D model come together as a single download) or a PDF RT60 report, one download is deducted from your monthly allowance.
No. Your allowance renews every calendar month and downloads you don’t use do not carry over to the next month.
You can keep using all the tools. To download, you buy an extra download for $2.99 USD or wait until your allowance renews.
Yes. From your customer portal you can change plans, update your payment method or cancel. If you cancel, you keep access until the end of the period you already paid for.
No. Plans give you access to the tools and a number of downloads per month. The kit is something else: a complete design made for your room’s dimensions, with its installation plan. It is bought separately and does not use your plan’s downloads.
The recommended kit for your room’s dimensions and your level, with the quantity and measurements of each element, cut lists and assembly guides, the target reverberation time and a floor plan showing where each piece goes: panels in front of the monitors and at the first side reflections, bass traps and diffusers at the back of the room.
No. Everything works in the browser. The files you download open with common programs (PDF, SVG, DXF).
